Call to Worship:
One: Your ways, O God, are holy.  What god is so great as our God?
Many: You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
One: With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
Many: Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind, your lightning lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.
One: Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.
Many: You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
One: I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
Many: I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
One: Let us worship God.
Many: Amen and Amen.

The mission of First Baptist Church in Attleboro is to invite and include people in the reconciling and healing love of God, as shown us in Jesus Christ.  Through worship, education, fellowship and service, we follow Christ, celebrating the gift of diversity and seeking unity.  

We believe that the church and individual members have the freedom and responsibility to develop their own faith and practice with God's guidance through the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and the American Baptist tradition.
